Perfect recipe for a dessert to share with the family.
In a mixer chop the almonds, meanwhile in a stand mixer whip the yolks and sugar until you get a homogeneous mixture.
Add butter, sifted flour, baking powder and mix well.
Add the previously chopped almonds.
Add the lemon rind and in the meantime beat the egg whites until stiff.
Add the egg whites to the mixture and mix until smooth.
Butter and flour a pan, transfer the mixture and sprinkle with powdered sugar almonds (whole and sliced) to decorate.
Bake at 180 ºC for 45 minutes and serve.
